The week beginning 3rd May saw our school celebrate all faiths during Interfaith Week. The children had a variety of tasks to complete and this was a super opportunity to maximise reflection on values, tolerance, kindness and consideration of others. On 1st May we held a very successful History Day. The children had the opportunity to dress up as a famous character Historical figure. As part of their study of the Romans, Year 3 and Year 4 recently enjoyed a visit to the East Riding Museum to take part in workshops. This term has seen the start of our Gardening Club, led by Mr Willis. The children are busy drawing up plans for the allotments and maintaining the flower beds and tubs. Thirty-one children from Paisley represented the school at the Hull Schools Cross-Country competition at St Mary's College on 24th October. Jessica, Kacey-Lee, Isabel and Amy finished in second place in the years 3 and 4 girls team competition. This means that they will now represent the city in the Humber games cross-country finals in 2015.
Our new timber clad double classroom is in place and is looking absolutely super! This will allow us lots of extra space for classes to work, and for children to receive the support they need to progress. We are all very excited to begin using the rooms in the New Year. The classrooms were supplied
The children were thrilled to be rewarded for their hard work this week , when Jeff Rich, former drummer with Status Quo, led a workshop for them all. The children learned a lot about the history of drumming, and our lucky volunteers were able to try out some of Jeff's collection of drums. The afternoon

We are grateful to Pete Smurthwaite and his local firm PBS, who have kindly provided 30 outdoor jackets for our children to wear at sporting events. They are so smart and warm, and will really help the children to feel proud to represent 'Team Paisley'! Many thanks!
