Interfaith Week

History Day

On 1st May we held a very successful History Day. The children had the opportunity to dress up as a famous character Historical figure. Roman Workshops

As part of their study of the Romans, Year 3 and Year 4 recently enjoyed a visit to the East Riding Museum to take part in workshops. The children had the opportunity to try lots of exciting activities, including role play, mosaic making and archaeology. Pictured below are the children enjoying some Roman-style shopping!

Gardening Club

This term has seen the start of our Gardening Club, led by Mr Willis.  The children are busy drawing up plans for the allotments and maintaining the flower beds and tubs. The club allows the children to develop an interest in gardening and skills which will benefit them in their adult lives.  They are learning

Hull Schools Cross-Country Competition

Thirty-one children from Paisley represented the school at the Hull Schools Cross-Country competition at St Mary's College on 24th October. Jessica, Kacey-Lee, Isabel and Amy finished in second place in the years 3 and 4 girls team competition. This means that they will now represent the city in the Humber games cross-country finals in 2015.

Hull Schools Cross Country Championships

14 children represented the school at the championships on 25th October at St Mary’s College. The years 3 and 4 races took place over a 1000 metre course and the years 5 and 6 race over a 1600 metre course. Congratulations to Lauren on finishing second in the years 5 and 6 girls’ race and Lily
