SEND Local Offer

At Paisley Primary School, we give every pupil the opportunity to be successful in their learning and to achieve as high a standard as possible.

We value every child in our community: we want them to aspire to the greatest things!

Support will be offered to children and their families by the Special Educational Needs Coordinator, (SENDCo), in conjunction with the class teacher. We produce bespoke support plans for our SEND pupils which are reviewed regularly, in consultation with parents, carers and pupils. This includes identifying opportunities in the school day for intervention and personalised provision.

Every child on the special needs register has a personal profile and individual education plan outlining targets and provision.

The name of the senior member of staff with responsibility for SEND is Ms Collette Lee, the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, supported by the Head of School and other members of the senior team.

Provision for SEND pupils is a key priority in our school development plan for the 2023 academic year. Through regular communication with parents/carers, we will ensure that all pupils achieve the highest standards of provision.

The school’s complaints procedure is outlined in the school prospectus.  The SEND code of practice outlines  additional measures the LEA must set up for preventing and resolving disagreements.  These will be explained to parents if required.
