On 1st May we held a very successful History Day. The children had the opportunity to dress up as a famous character Historical figure.
As ever, there were lots of wonderful costumes and I thank you for your support for the event.
The children looked amazing! Lots of imagination was in evidence. One child even came as a rat from the Bubonic Plague! Each class researched a famous person from History.
Super learning was had by all and lots of fun along the way. We held a special Gold Book assembly on Friday 8th May, dedicated to History Day and the learning, which had taken place.
Thank you to Mrs. Bursell, History Subject Leader, for organising our History Day. The photographs below give you a flavour of some of the participation and enthusiasm in evidence on our special day.
