The week beginning 3rd May saw our school celebrate all faiths during Interfaith Week.
The children had a variety of tasks to complete and this was a super opportunity to maximise reflection on values, tolerance, kindness and consideration of others.
Two children have contributed comments below on their Interfaith Week experiences.
I thought that Interfaith Week was fun and was a time to think about how we could get the community to be friends. I enjoyed doing my message for our Golden Rule artwork. My Golden Rule was, ‘If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours’.
Paige, (Year 3)
We had to draw a big poster showing what the Golden Rule was in every faith. I actually liked drawing it because you had to put what the Golden Rule was, like: love, respect, peace and loads more… I drew a present with words inside it saying the Golden Rule. Mine was, ‘Treat each other with respect’.
Tyler, (Year 6)
Thank you to Mrs. Howard, R.E. Subject Leader, for organising our Interfaith Week.
