As part of their ‘What a Performance’ topic, the children in years 5 and 6 have been designing t-shirts to wear at a fashion show.
Parents and Carers of the children were invited to a craft afternoon to help the children experiment with making a large 2-D model of their design. A special ‘shop’ was set up in the Design Technology area where everyone could gather the materials they needed, and soon all three classes were full of glitter, paint, fabric, buttons and – most importantly – brilliant ideas! Many thanks to the parents who were able to come and join in. This will be a regular event, so we look forward to seeing you next time.
